David Eells believes that many ministries are being raised up to restore the Church to its roots. By the grace of God, UBM is happy to do their small part. This is one of the revelations sent to him that reveal how our Father is using the weak, base and despised of the world to fashion a vessel for His use.

This is David's description on the beginnings of his ministry. When I started our website Mark Ward helped me to set it up. At that time he had a dream. He saw himself going to his neighbor's yard with his casting rod to teach him how to catch fish. He demonstrated to his neighbor by casting his line but the line never hit the ground. Instead it went out between the telephone wires into space. He noticed that all the way down the line were many, many hooks. As he waited, a fish the size of a man was caught on one of the hooks. Then a fish as big as the sky came and swallowed the first fish.

Mark asked me what I thought this meant. I said that Jesus called us to "catch men." (Mathew 4:19) And he saith unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men. (Luke 5:10) And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. Fishing through the telephone lines has to be fishing over the Internet. I told him that the Lord was confirming that the website we were building was going to be very successful for the kingdom in bringing in a great harvest. The first fish that was the size of a man was to show that he was fishing for men. The second fish was to show that a great corporate body of men would be caught by us in this method.

Unleavened Bread Ministries post links and addresses on their site so that you may join them in service to our brethren. Although this is their only means of support, they don't ask anyone for gifts. They ask that you do what you feel God would have you do. You are a steward of His property, for Jesus said that if we don’t renounce everything we have or own we cannot be His disciple. Also, this ministry does not belong to David but the Lord. He is just part of the ministry that is made up of many saints that God has joined together to serve His people the Unleavened Bread of the Word. The other elders know David and his simple lifestyle and he submits to their wisdom. The ministry is an Unregistered Church / Ministry and their treasurer oversees all financial transactions.

Unleavened Bread Ministries has the lowest overhead of any ministry they know of. The ministers are all volunteers, many of whom have regular jobs. Gifts are used to produce and send print, video, broadcast and telecast materials for the brethren's needs. They give everything freely on their site, for the Lord said, “Freely ye received, freely give.” Gifts recently sent enabled them to bulk print Sovereign God for the fifth time. This and other UBM books are free e-books on this site and are being printed in bulk to give to the brethren freely, including to prisoners and servicemen. Gifts have made it possible to copy many thousands of MP3/DVD discs and VHS tapes for the brethren. Gifts have also built other broadcast stations at minimum cost. The ministry reaches out by AM, FM, shortwave, satellite, Internet radio broadcasts and Access and satellite TV. Their satellite channel will be up and running soon as God says the time is right.
