United Methodist Metro Ministries Inc mission and program arm of all United Methodist churches of the Indianapolis Districts, connects congregations with people in need within seven counties.

We hold in trust resources given to fund present and future projects that reflect diversity, inclusion and development of clergy and lay leadership.

Metro Ministries engages all UnitedMethodistChurch congregations through prayers, time, talents, and resources to spread God's love.

Metro Ministries, Inc. Board of Directors has selected Lisa G. Morris as the interim Executive Director. Lisa has 32 years of experience as the Administrative Assistant to Metro Ministries. During this time of transition, she will serve as interim Executive Director and on the Metro Ministries Core Planning team working with the Metro Ministries Board of Directors on setting a strategic agenda for the organization's future.

"The visioning and imagining for Metro Ministries has begun - I hope to see Metro Ministries as a mission, ministry and resourcing agency in the Indiana Conference," she says. "I plan not to be sitting in meetings; rather in the local church and mission agencies volunteering, learning and coming back to the Board of Directors with action solutions to needs in the local church and communities."

Lisa is married to Steve and they have one son in graduate school. She is a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church serving most recently as mission chair and interim treasurer. She is an equalizing delegate to Annual Conference from Indianapolis East District.
