i just got out of bed, not going to church today, turned on the tv and saw the program about back-sliders and people wanting more. boy did that mean something to me. we have been looking for a church, we have been attending but not satisfied until this morning!!!!!it has brought me tears, wanting more than what i have settled for in the last ten years, i want to be loved, cared for, appreciated, i know GOD can do that, we need to find a church like yours to begin to grow again, to forget the world and get back to the basics of GOD because that is the only way that we can begin truely be the children of GOD, i praise GOD for the short message i saw, praise God!!!!

Too much to gain, to lose. by: Ron Siebert
Reverend Bates,
I recently had the opportunity to hear Pastor Bates sing "I have too much to gain, to lose" on a Televised service broadcast in Cleveland Ohio.
I have applied this throughout my week and have been amazed at how the trivial things in life disappear and that I am able to concentrate on the big things, family, health, relationships.
Being a card carrying, God fearing Catholic it is difficult for me to accept all the "protestant" churches and services as genuine and truly authentic. Having said that there is "no way" that Rev Bates did not affect me in a positve and profound way.
Having had this last week be "Mercy Sunday" maybe that was God's way of telling me to be more tolerant and open.
Thank you for listening. And keep on, keepin on" as our dear friend Les Brown would say.
