Last night I turned on the TV and Pastor Evans's show was airing. He was telling us that we are not to be passive when our marriage is in trouble but to pursue our marriage partner.
I had been pursuing my husband for about six months.
He was beginning to hurt my feelings again as he had in the past, so I left him alone about a month ago and continues to keep him in prayer. When Pastor Evans charge came to show redeeming love, I immediately called my husband. I try to always obey God's voice.
My husband was still a bit hurtful, but I did not let him hurt me. I am reminded by God of his redeeming love toward all of us, especially when we have wronged him. He never leaves or forsakes us.
Thank you Pastor Jimmy and Karen for knowing God's Word about marriage and sharing it with people. The world needs this Word and the body of Christ desperately need this type of ministry. God Bless you both.
