Plumbline Ministries is? (primarily a research center)

That is nearly impossible to answer because they are always growing, changing, learning, becoming. About the time you figure out where they are, they aren?t there any more. Nonetheless, there are three things that are constants.

-They are first and foremost subjects of the Great King, Jesus the Christ.

No matter what changes happen in the world around us, or who joins their community, or how they grow through their pligrimage, this truth never moves from its place at the core.

-They are researchers.

Their belief is that Christianity is made to work. When areas of our lives remain dysfunctional, it simply points to the fact that there are truths we have either not discovered or not learned how to apply properly. They see problems as markers for our ignorance, so we go looking?

-They are not your savior.

As a tribe, they are very life giving. Their website gives you more free resources than most. They never ask (or hint) for money. They give away a lot of their time. While they are intentionally, hugely life giving, they are NOT responsible for you.

They will consistently point you to the resources God has made available to you and to your responsibility to walk out your own pursuit of God. They don?t enable. And at times they frustrate people with their insistence on empowering them as they refuse to do for them what they could (and should) do for themselves.
