Mens Retreat Ministries

Mens Retreat Ministries began with catching the Promise Keepers Vision of building up Christian men and breaking down denominational barriers a group of men's leaders from seven different churches began having joint men's retreats at Victory Bible camp beginning in 1996.

As the Alaska Men's Retreat grew in size of the years, these leaders felt that God was calling them to the next step of faith. In the fall of 2006 Alaska Men's Ministries, a 501 c3 nonprofit corporation, was formed.

Now ...Alaska Men's Ministries mission is to:

"Promote healthy men's communities in local churches by connecting men to God and to their brothers in Christ at "mountain top" events."

It is their prayer that the mountain top experiences will challenge and encourage men in their spiritual journey of following Jesus and that the momentum of these events will continue in men's communities within the local churches all across the state of Alaska.

Alaska Men's Ministries partners with like-minded Pastors and men's leaders who share this vision.

Their goal is to provide three "mountain top" men's events each year:

1. Alaska men's retreat (Nov) ,
2. Men's Summit (Feb.) (Anchorage area Christian men's conference),
3. Men's mission/ outreach opportunity

Items To Bring: Bible, notebook, pen, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, towel, warm clothing, hat, gloves, winter boots, gym clothing, flashlight.

Free-Time Activities: Basketball, volleyball, hockey, target shooting, mountain climbing, hiking, horseback riding, board games, norther-lights ogling, raven stalking & Moose shooting (with a camera).
