Their vision is: “Providing a light to those in darkness by helping restore broken lives through Christ centered programs that offer individuals clarity, dignity, purpose and hope.”
People seeking assistance from Social Services are required to be within our service area and must call and schedule an appointment with one of our Case Managers. An interview will be conducted to determine the needs and resources that are needed. Domestic violence cuts across all social, economic and educational lines. It affects all ages, ethnic groups and genders. Domestic violence is the number one reason for homelessness among women.
The hope for a better life and the courage to take the first step must come from within. The Crisis Center provides resources and help for clients to begin that journey.
Many times, clients who leave abusive homes leave everything behind, only to enter a world of emotional and financial upheaval. The Crisis Center is there to meet their basic needs as well as lend support while they work through their trauma.
Services Provided - helping the adult victim:

Coordinates the responses of community systems/agencies with the needs of abused persons.
Ensures adequate resources are available within the community to meet those needs.
Sexual Abuse Center:
Sexual abuse is an emotionally charged crime in which passions for prevention and prosecution run at a high level. Many people involved in sexual abuse work have been victims of sexual abuse themselves. These people take on the role of advocates and support persons who are victims of sexual abuse. The Crisis Center has trained staff and volunteers who are ready to assist and provide resources and support through this most traumatic time.
