JOHN ANKERBERG

John Ankerberg has been interviewed on radio and television on all five continents as an outstanding spokesman for the Christian faith. He believes that Christianity cannot only stand its ground in the arena of the world's ideas but that Christianity alone is fully true. Born December 1945 he is the host of an American nationally syndicated Evangelical Christian television talk show. The show is broadcast from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and highlights contemporary Christian viewpoints and debates among well known Christian scholars. In his talk show, he is criticized as giving the appearance of an unbiased, moderated debate, but instead argues the fundamentalist position as strong as any of his guests. The fundamentalist debater and Ankerberg rehearse together beforehand to coordinate the debate and assure that the fundamentalist position wins. John Ankerberg is also criticized for bringing strong debaters to argue his positions and weak ones to argue positions he opposes. He also will try to blindside his opposition by bringing up obscure and irrelevant points of attack outside the bounds of the debate, after assuring them of the scope of the debate. John F.
