Pastor Ankerberg of John Ankerberg Ministries has been interviewed on radio and television on all five continents as an outstanding spokesman for the Christian faith.
He believes that Christianity cannot only stand its ground in the arena of the world's ideas but that Christianity alone is fully true.
Born December 1945 he is the host of an American nationally syndicated Evangelical Christian television talk show. The show is broadcast from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and highlights contemporary Christian viewpoints and debates among well known Christian scholars.
John Ankerberg Ministries is criticized (by people who don't like him) as giving the appearance of an unbiased, moderated debate, but instead argues the fundamentalist position as strong as any of his guests.
They claim the fundamentalist debater and Ankerberg rehearse together beforehand to coordinate the debate and assure that the fundamentalist position wins.
John Ankerberg is also criticized (by people who don't like him) for bringing strong debaters to argue his positions and weak ones to argue positions he opposes.
They also claim Pastor Ankerberg will try to blindside his opposition by bringing up obscure and irrelevant points of attack outside the bounds of the debate, after assuring them of the scope of the debate.

What evidence is there that the Bible is any more special than any other spiritual book? Does it contain any information that should cause us to take it more seriously than say, the Qu'ran? Or do the Bible's teachings simply serve as a crutch for weak-willed people, as some claim? Has an all-powerful God communicated to humanity through a written message? As one philosopher has said, "If that book exists, it is the most valuable book in the world." Six discussions will help you investigate the answer to the question, "How do we know the Bible is true?" so you can determine what you personally believe on this critical issue.
