Joel is a prosperity preacher

Joel Osteen is a prosperity preacher; his teachings focus on materialism and self aggrandizement when the bible clearly admonishes to "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." (I John 2:15,16 KJV).

Is Joel preparing his followers for the coming of Christ? Is he teaching them God's mandates to live holy and to abstain from sin? Is he teaching sacrificial living? We must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. How will Joel answer the Lord?
