JIMMY EVANS
Evens pastor's an interdenominational church with more than 6,000 members. He began ministering at Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, Texas, in 1983 as a marriage counselor. Since then, he has counseled (or taught at marriage seminars and on TV) thousands of couples and individuals seeking help. He states that God not only has blessed my marriage, but He also has blessed me with the opportunity to share with many others the wonderful truths I have learned and experienced. He and his wife, Karen, are the hosts of MarriageToday with Jimmy & Karen, a marriage ministry and a national award-winning broadcast television program. MarriageToday with Jimmy & Karen is an exciting weekly program bringing a message of hope and encouragement to marriages and families! Each program contains vital information that develops, encourages, and strengthens family relationships. Clear and practical teaching from a Biblical perspective is the foundation of the program's content. Programs include teaching by Pastor Jimmy Evans and interviews with nationally recognized family experts like Gary Smalley, Joe White, Josh McDowell, Dennis Rainey, Ken Canfield, Joe McIlhaney, Jerry Johnston and others. Evans has authored several books and resources focused on strengthening marriage. He and Karen have been married for over 33 years and have two adult children and two grandchildren.
