Free from cigarettes
by Winston Gregg
(Blacksburg, S.C.)
I was in Ernest Angleys crusade in 1982 in Columbia South Carolina. Ernest Angley pointed me out in a crowd of thousands and called me to the stage in which he was standing. When I got to him and before he prayed for me he told me that I smoked cigarettes and I told him that I did.
He said I bet that you didn't think that I was going to point you out did you. I told him that I was sitting up there praying that he would point me out because I had been wanting to quit smoking for a long time but I could not quit.
He asked me if I had cigarettes in my pocket and I told him that I did. He told me to take them out of my pocket and throw them down on the stage. When I had done as he said, then he reached and touched me and I went out in the Spirit.
When the spirit had finished with me I did not crave cigarettes any longer. I have been free ever since. I give all the praise to Jesus. "Winston Gregg"
