FFH (Far From Home) is a Contemporary Christian band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the United States.
This group plays upbeat, encouraging music with a Christian theme.
They have released six independent projects, plus six studio albums through Essential Records, along with a "Best of " album and a praise and worship album in 2007.
The group formed as Four For Harmony, an a cappella group.
Over time they developed a vocal acoustic pop style, similar to that of the Smalltown Poets, and changed their name to Far From Home.
The group toured for six years before signing to Essential Records and releasing their major label debut I Want to Be Like You.
In 2006 at Toad Suck Daze, an annual festival in Conway, Arkansas, the band made several statements indicating that they would soon retire the band and pursue individual goals.
They assured the audience, however, that they would be parting on the best of terms. The exact date of any 'final show,' however, was not mentioned.
Numerous of the band's singles have charted, including "Watching Over Me" which hit the number one spot on Adult Contemporary radio and the Top 5 on Christian Hit Radio, "On My Cross" which had a two-week run at number one inspirational radio, "One of These Days," "Big Fish" and "I Want to Be Like You."
