Pastor Lamb of Daystar Ministries believes the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Born October 7, 1957 in Cordele, GA he is a Christian broadcaster, founder,
president, and CEO of the Daystar Television Network, and is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee).
Marcus Lamb is married to Joni Trammell, who is the vice-president and executive producer of the Daystar Ministries.
The Daystar Television Network, founded by Lamb, is headquartered in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area, and is now broadcasting to over 44 million homes in the United States and to several hundred million homes in 150 countries around the world via ten major satellites.

Marcus Lamb was raised in Macon, Georgia,
and in 1962 at the age of five years old he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the East Macon Church of God where his family attended. He was very much involved with church activities while growing up in Macon. He attended Sunday school, church camps, and camp meetings into his teens.
While Marcus was attending a Georgia camp meeting where Evangelist Ronnie Brock was preaching, Marcus was called to be an evangelist. He immediately surrendered his life to become an evangelist, and began preaching at the age of 15. At 19 years of age Marcus graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lee University in Cleveland, TN.
Marcus began traveling in the South preaching at revivals, and in the autumn of 1980 while preaching at a revival in Greenville, South Carolina, Marcus met Joni Trammell in her home church, the Tremont Avenue Church of God. They began courting and were married two years later in 1982.
Together they began to travel and minister at various churches through out the southeastern part of the United States and eventually went nationwide preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ at revivals.
Marcus was honored by Daystar Ministries with 30 years
in God's ministry anniversary. The celebration was seen by millions around the world.
The Lambs host a daily television talk show on their network called “Celebration.” In 2005, Lamb was listed as number 34 in The Church Report Magazine's top 50 most influential Christians in America.
He and his wife Joni currently reside in Dallas, TX with their three children, Jonathan 21, Rachel 18, and Rebecca 16.
As an Evangelist, Marcus Lamb has committed to memory large portions of scripture. He ministers with great sensitivity to the hearers with an emphasis on praying at the altars and moving in the gifts of the Spirit. It is his desire to see people saved, healed and revived with the fire of God.
