Christian Healthcare Ministries
Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM) is a nonprofit, voluntary cost-sharing ministry through which participating Christians meet each other’s medical bills. CHM is based on Galatians 6:2 and Acts 2 and 4. In the last 20 years, CHM members have shared more than $500 million in medical bills. The ministry is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
C H Ministries is not a health insurance company. Rather, they are a group of thousands of Christians across the United States and around the world who share each other’s burdens in the area of health care costs. They also pray for and encourage one another.
They have existed as a ministry for nearly 30 years and have served more than 100,000 people. However, their history goes as far back as New Testament times.
Please examine their website to learn more about this unique ministry and how it can work for you and your family, church or business. We suggest you start with the How it works and Participation levels & costs pages.
Their mission statement: The mission of C H Ministries is to glorify God, show Christian love, and experience God's presence as Christians share each other's medical bills.
Advantages of joining:
* No waiting period for accidental injuries
* Maternity program
* No physical required
* Choose your own health care providers
* No one is dropped or denied participation due to medical conditions
* The great joy that comes from giving, knowing that each gift goes to help a fellow Christian in need and knowing that other Christians are faithfully standing by to help you! (Luke 6:38)
Everyone who joins CHM is encouraged to participate in sharing the good news of their program with other Christians.
All of us know friends searching for solutions to ever-increasing health care costs. They need to know of CHM and its Bible-based program that meets the medical needs of God’s people. Their two programs designed to help CHM members share the message are Bring-a-Friend and Share the Message. Both programs offer incentives for participation.
They ask their members to share CHM with others because they've found that personal contact with Christian friends and family is the best way for their organization to grow.
Growth is important because more members mean more people are helped because a larger number of Christians are sharing their burdens. Medical needs can be shared faster and more efficiently. Monthly gift amounts are kept low. More members means a stronger and better organization for everyone.
CHM is good news worth sharing!
