Art Ministries mission is to train and equip the next generation of youth in the disciplines of new media and digital filmmaking, utilizing practical knowledge and hands-on training. They provide a positive environment for learning by incorporating foundational biblical Christian-Judeo teaching for the students and through challenging, real-life production settings. Their focus is educating inner-city youths that don't have the opportunity to attend college, as well as young people preparing for the life of ministry.

Their vision is to raise up visionary artists, designers and filmmakers for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the new media and entertainment industry.

In the animation workshop you will explore ways to tell stories. Instruction covers sequence, timing, action and narration. Tutorials include 3D animation, texturing and character design. Applications include: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash.

You learn how to create a simple animated GIF in Photoshop: first as a frame-based animation, then as a timeline-based animation. You also learn how to manage options and settings.

You learn how to use the Animation palette timeline to create an animation in Photoshop. You learn how to paint on individual frames on a video layer. How to edit textures of 3D objects. How to apply layer style effects to 3D objects. How to create an animation by cloning an image across multiple frames. How to clone a still image and progressively paint it onto successive frames in a video layer, etc. The list is endless!

There is also an animation toolkit where you can master the art of animating objects on the Flash Stage with motion tweens. Breathe life into complex characters with custom techniques and tips and so much more. A GREAT SITE!
