Bro Kenneth Hagin was Prophet-a man sent from Heaven. And because he was sent, God gave him a message for his generation. I believe he was one of those God used to get his church started again along paths she had long strayed from.
The truths he shared were in no way new, for they have always been in the bible. He presented to the church truths she had let slip away over time when the dark ages came upon her.
I believe the message of Faith he preached and his teachings on the Holy Ghost and the Anointing were inspired of God for this generation, and beyond. Yes, he was a pioneer of restoration of certain lost biblical truths.
Bro Hagin may have left this earthly plain, yet his teachings because they were born of the Holy Ghost have remained. This I think is necessary as the Church of God grows on the wings of the timeless truth he bore testimony to.
...This I think is necessary in the development and maturity of God's church... "until we all come to the unity of faith".
